NHS Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Group, which buys and plans healthcare for more than 305,000 people living in Mole Valley, Epsom and Ewell, east Elmbridge, Dorking and surrounding areas, is inviting local people to come to its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday 29 September.
The AGM will take place from 4 – 5pm at Leatherhead Leisure Centre, Guildford Road, Fetcham, Leatherhead (KT22 9BL) and is an opportunity for our new Clinical Chair, Dr Russell Hills, to give an overview of our achievements last year. Our Acting Chief Finance Officer will be presenting our annual financial accounts and our joint Accountable Officer, Matthew Tait, will also be giving an update on our plans for the future and the work of the Surrey Heartlands partnership.
The AGM follows a public meeting of the CCG’s Governing Body from 1.30-3.30pm, which local people are also welcome to attend. A ‘meet and greet’ with our Governing Body members will take place between 3.30 - 4pm over refreshments.
Dr Russell Hills, Clinical Chair at NHS Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “Our AGM is an opportunity for us to share our highlights from the past twelve months and to talk about our plans for the future. It’s a great way to get involved and hear what we’re up to locally, both across Surrey Downs and through the Surrey Heartlands partnership, so I would encourage local people, partners and anyone who’s interested to come along.”
