Healthwatch Surrey is an independent organisation that gives the people of Surrey a voice to improve, shape and get the best from their health and social care services.
Their vision and aim is to improve health and social care services and outcomes for people in Surrey.
They aim to do this by being an independent consumer champion ensuring that the voices of people in Surrey reach the ears of the decision makers.
They are a Community Interest Company (C.I.C) led by a Board of Directors of whom a majority (including the Chair) are independent non-executives.
An organisation powered by volunteers: Community Ambassadors, Authorised Representatives, Strategic Ambassadors and Specialist Volunteers.
Supported by a small team of staff led by Kate Scribbins, CEO.
Healthwatch Surrey gives people a powerful voice locally and nationally. The Healthwatch network is made up of local Healthwatch across each of the 152 local authority areas and Healthwatch England, the national body.
